🌸I have found that a quiet mind while being present is what leads to creating in general. Funny enough, after a while, when the Atlas collection was complete, I found out that water lilies symbolize resurrection and birth (creating). It’s funny how things come full circle even when we don’t realize what’s happening at the time.
BACKSTORY
At the time, I was drawing a piece for a fashion competition. I ended up drawing “Fun, Fashion, and Friends” and I originally wanted to draw a pond with water lilies for it, but changed my mind. I kept the water lilies I had drawn and as soon as I looked at them, “Bliss” came to mind. 💖

At the time of drawing “Bliss”, I was at my friend’s mom at her house. I was sitting on the couch and her home decor is so full of patterns and textures. A lot of lace, leaves, and flower patterns. So I mindlessly incorporated them into the fashion of the piece. Drawing in general always quiets my mind and makes me feel so present while at the same time transporting me into a beautiful world of creativity.
